Google hates high-design websites. Google needs plaintext. People hate high-design websites after they get past the wow-factor because high-design websites tend to lead with form over function, confusing people with innovations in design rather than innovations in usability. Graphic designers might be the bane of my existence as a technology strategist and an expert in SEO. PR folks aren’t the only people who don’t get Web2.0.

I am trying out Link Harvest, a WordPress plugin that goes through this blog and grabs all of the links and then offers you several ways of rendering them. Interesting, but the jury is out on the usefulness of the tool.

Blogrolling sites that you want to be connected to can lead to reciprocal linking. The nature of the blogosphere lends itself to linking. The process of exchanging links with other websites is called Reciprocal Linking.
