BMW 6-series Gran Coupé? OK, these are end-times before the zombie apocalypse. What was BMW thinking?

A 4-door coupé? What is the world coming to? What part of coupé doesn’t BMW understand:

Coupés are often hardtopped sports cars or sporty variants of sedan (saloon) body styles, with doors commonly reduced from four to two, and a close-coupled interior (i.e., the rear seat placed further forward than in a standard sedan) offering either two seats or 2+2 seating (space for two passengers in the front and two occasional passengers or children in the rear).

They’re bloating! I haven’t even looked at it. It might be dead-sexy, but I don’t care — this is just BMW taking the bait from Audi’s new line. Don’t take the A5 bait, Bayerische Motoren Werke!
