googleGoogle is calling out to hackers with a challenge to hack their browser, Google Chrome. Successful hackers will receive $20,000 and a new Chrome notebook as prizes.

The challenge is a part of Pwn20wn contest at the next month’s CanSecWest conference. The browser needs to be hacked in 30 minutes or less, using Google-written code on Windows 7 or Mac Os X systems.

If no one successfully cracks the browser on the first day of the competition they will be given a second shot at half of the prize on the second day, but they will then be allowed to use non-google code.

Google is so confident of its browser security, Safari, IE8, and the iPhone were hacked, but only Google Chrome is standing strong and untouched.
