I wasn’t intending on blogging this as there is honor amongst thieves.
However, I just got pissed off there were so many copies of the exact same auto DM that I got sick and tired of deleting them.
The screenie that you see to your right is just all of them that I can catch on my wee little laptop before you couldn’t read it any more.
There are many that I already deleted and quite a few that are below.
I don’t want to count them all. I don’t want to sink any more time than I am now.

There are so many auto DMs! Unconscionable!
Anyway, let’s see if there’s anyone else complaining about this on Google… nope.

I personally recommend avoiding auto DMs — nobody appreciates it and nobody likes them.
If you don’t know, a Twitter DM refers to a private direct message.
None of these ever feel authentic, honest, or intimate — especially if there are possibly hundreds of the same copy of the same message, which I daresay you and you team did not lovingly write by hand.
Pop Mark an email and set up a meeting and we’ll call it even.

DROP EM!
On my three year Twitter anniversary last year I petitioned others to a “Drop your AutoDM Day”. It also helped that (now) socialoomph has a setting that won’t send you AutoDM’s, so that cut down on the SPAM that is AutoDM’s.

I think that’s a great idea. I have auto DM and I don’t like it. I think it’s not working like it said it would.. and I think it’s just silly. Now just trying to figure out WHERE I can eliminate that.
Chris you aren ‘t wrong.. a PR firm should NOT be bombarding people with the same DM over and over. It’s spelled S P A M.
I don’t really believe that Bernhard Hagen is a spammer. This looks like a very devastating mistake. I wonder if he’ll ever notice this post.
