As I was looking through random stats (which I actually tend to do) I came across the Tech Crunchies’ Number Of Facebook Users By Country list which in January of this year said that Facebook had about 100,000,000 users from the United States.
To put that into perspective, the United States has about 300,000,000 citizens.
As you can see clearly in this infographic, that’s roughly 1/3 of the entire US population using facebook.
Yes. Social media is here, strong, and likely not going away. If you think you can ignore it. . . well it’s only getting bigger every day.
