Drop Kick The BS And Earn Trust

Drop Kick The BS

A lot of corporations have been sending a great deal of BS out to the consumers for a very long time, but companies are starting to see that the consumers are too savvy for tall tales. Twitter, Facebook, and other social media tools allow consumers to talk to each other about products, services, and companies at an amazing pace. The BS that used to protect a company, now only serves as fodder against it.

My suggestion? Drop kick the BS and move straight to the truth. Today’s consumer appreciates it when a company is willing to quickly and honestly own up to mistakes. They don’t expect a corporation to be perfect (after all these people have gone through the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s), but what they do demand is honesty and ownership of faults.

Don’t be afraid to say sorry. Don’t be afraid to admit a mistake. In the long run it’ll make your brand stronger, because the consumers will feel that you have earned rather than abused their trust.

hmmm number of corps that fall into this blog arena include
banks & other financial institutions because you don’t need to raise the rates on people credit cards or add in other things. You make plenty of money
also hits those who fail to re-do loans for people who need them done so that they don’t default and thereby underscore the problem you are supposed to prevent

how about insurance companies? Let’s go there for a moment. Love this one==-health insurance companies and even home-owner’s insurance because the LA times columnist (I think it’s David Lazarus http://bit.ly/4pllya ) wrote about Aetna. There are other situations I have heard about where people have been cancelled after being told AFTER the fact that their rates had been hiked.. like 2 months later and then cancelled the policy saying that they provided due diligence.
Anthem Blue Cross is in my cross-hairs and they haven’t a clue about the pressure when you resubmit a claim 5 x and you file a grievance and they say they will call you back and don’t. It’s called a blizzard/avalanche of paperwork, grievances, emails and phone calls to legislators as well as dept of insurance in Calif.
let’s stop here before I start going after them and give them a chance to do the right thing for a change).
