5 Years of Firefox Community

by Phillip Rhoades on November 12, 2009 · 0 comments

Five years of a community building something great. Open source projects like Firefox are a form of social media as well. Free speech in the form of code and logic. We’ve all seen the powerful and graceful applications that come from the minds and spirits of a community that loves what it’s doing.

As social media marketers, and digital PR agents, we should look to these projects as sign posts pointing towards what we can accomplish. If we can find or build the community of interest around the brands of our clients, the community will become something strong and lasting, as will the brand.
