Best Buy marketing glitch made for some happy customers

An online picture posted of a deal for Sprint’s Palm Pre to cost $99 instead of $199 at Best Buy made for some lucky     customers.  Here’s a perfect example of how important it is to keep advertising consistent, especially online.  The news caught on quickly and this “deal” even became programmed into vendor systems.  This spread the sale to Best Buys across the nation despite a tweet explaining the mistake from a Best Buy marketing manager.  Oops!
