Freud and Modern Public Relations

Mark Harrison popped me these BBC TV shows months ago and I only had time to watch them last night and they’re very interesting and wonderful insight into the last century of public relations. This series, The Century of the Self, asserts that Sigmund Freud, Anne Freud, and — most importantly — Edward Bernays, were the godparents of modern PR, marketing, advertising, and also political strategy.
