In a side bar to the article I mentioned in the previous post there was the following mentioned “70 amateur filmakers who were chosen by YouTube…will share the advertising revenue”.

This raises several questions - are they still amateur if they get paid? Does this mean YouTube will move away from being a purely amateur driven site to a site driven by professional or semi-professional videographers? How much does the creator make?

I thought that this was an interesting approach. How about, if you the user, click on the ad you get a piece of the action? Almost like being part of a focus group…

I think this is all interesting development and will be interesting to watch the general reaction by the user community and how Google responds to any complaints.

Okay, gotta go now, time to get my video editing software up and running so I can post like hell to YouTube and maybe even get paid. Yippeeee another way to make money online!!!
