After observing much of the Web closely for the past couple months, I have started to realize alot of things I never noticed. With the number of possibilities for making money on the net being so high these days, it is interesting that people are so unaware of the opportunities. The campaigns to get people to sign up for things like PayPerPost are strong, but there are still so many bloggers out there that have no idea. As for myself, I am glad to have had the opportunity to work for AbrahamHarrison and have been put on to such opportunities. I will be starting a financial consulting job in September, but I have already set up my on blog and plan to make some extra cash on the side through it. The world of online marketing is just getting started and I am glad to be a part of it now as well as seeing where it goes in the future….

So I came across this video today on ZdNet in which a bunch of corporate dudes - from Google, Levi Strauss, Hasbro, and McKesson - discuss the introduction of the iPhone and whether their organizations will support the use of it by their employees. Here is the link to the video

Anyway, it made me wonder what it means if corporate America for some reason were to not switch over to the iPhone. All of these guys, except for Google, said that they are not supporting the use of the iPhone by their employees and that the Rim Blackberry was still the technology of choice. There whole tech infrastructure and support systems are built around the Blackberry technology.

Let’s just, hypothetically, assume that the majority of corporate America decides not to utilize the new iPhone. Does this have any impact on the potential failure or success of this technology? How important is it to get the corporate dudes to buy your technology? We have all seen the impact of the Window’s system being adopted and utilized by companies vs the Apple. Though Apple is having a resurgence but it is not being driven by the corporations but rather by the lowly consumer. Will the consumer be strong enough to drive the iPhone into a truly universal and successful piece of technology - like the iPod?

So, there is something about SEO or SEM and maybe Affiliate Marketing (but less so) that gets at my goat. I guess the thing is that if you are writing a blog about a topic, or an issue or what not you should get to be known and found because you write good content. This is the thing with SEO/SEM, it doesn’t reward necessarily quality, it rewards technical know-how.

The reason why I added ads to the right of Memes.org is not really for the money, because I have no traffic, but because I love to see what ads pop up. Ads about memes, memetics, end times, a final prophecy, reptilians, and all sorts of wonderful stuff. I also like seeing the ads served up here, because they’re generally being served by my competitors! Such perfect business intel. I highly recommend it. Google Adwords ads served via Adsense in order to bait your enemies into the open! Buahahahahaha!
