Will the upcoming CNN-YouTube debates be Hype or will it be Revolutionary?

It’s both.

It’s not that politicians constantly get tossed softballs from reporters or from debate panelists. Candidates have scripted responses to everything. The war in Iraq, health care, tax policy, education, the economy, the environment. So we’re likely to get scripted answers here.

But it’s groundbreaking because it makes things a lot less orchestrated and makes the Q&A process more citizen oriented.
